Ingredients :
- 150g almonds
- 50g Parmesan
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 750g Chicken Breasts, cut into 2–3 cm cubes
- 250g cream cheese, cubed
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- black pepper
- chicken stock powder – this is optional however it gives a big flavour boost to the crumb
This mixture is going to give you the most delicious and flavour-packed crunchy Nuggets.
How To Make Thermomix Chicken Nuggets From Scratch :
- 1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- 2. Start by adding the parmesan, almonds and paprika into the Thermomix mixing bowl.
- 3. Mill 7 sec/speed 7. Take the mix from the bowl and set on a clean plate.
- 4. Add the garlic to the Thermomix bowl and chop 2 sec/speed 7.
- 5. Put chicken, cream cheese, egg, onion powder, salt, pepper and 50g of the almond mix milled before. Blend 15 sec/speed 8.
- 5. Blend again until a smooth thick mince is achieved.
- 6. Wet your hands with cold water, then shape the chicken mince into ‘nuggets’. Use approximately 1 tablespoon of chicken mince per nugget. Crumb the nuggets by coating in the almond mix.
- 7. Place your nuggets on a baking paper lined tray, spray with cooking oil and bake for 10 min.
- 8. For crispy, more golden nuggets, bake for 7-10 more minutes.
