Are you a fan of classic flavours when it comes to ice cream? Then there’s the Vanilla Ice Cream made with thermomix TM6, which is truly irreplaceable!

I must admit that as a child, I did not like for vanilla flavour. I was perplexed by all those little black specks. I’ve changed my opinion now that I’ve made this ice cream in my Thermomix, and I believe it’s pretty excellent, especially when paired with something suitable.

But, in fact, what is vanilla? It turned out to be a plant, a Mexican orchid with vanilla-flavored fruits. However, they must go through a lengthy process before they get that familiar sweet flavour. It’s true that you never stop learning!

Thermomix Vanilla Ice cream

Ingredients

  • 1 vanilla bean
  • 600 g full cream milk
  • 200 g pouring (whipping) cream
  • 180 g white sugar
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 1 pinch salt (optional)

 

Instruction:

Step 1: Put the milk to boil, stirring constantly.

To create Vanilla Ice Cream at home, whisk together 1 teaspoon cornflour and 4 tablespoons milk in a small dish until smooth. If you don’t use cold milk, you’ll end up with lumps. Combine all of the ingredients in a mixing bowl and set aside. Meanwhile, boil the milk in a saucepan, stirring constantly to prevent the milk from sticking to the bottom.

Step 2: Toss in the sugar.

Reduce the milk to half its original volume. This will guarantee that your ice cream is smooth and creamy. Combine the cornflour and milk in a mixing bowl. stirring every now and again Allow the milk to decrease after adding the sugar. Reduce the flame to low after the milk has thickened to the desired consistency.

Step 3: Mix in the fresh cream and vanilla extract.

After that, combine the fresh cream and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl. After mixing, remove the pan from the heat and transfer the contents into an aluminium container. Freeze for 6 hours or until semi-set, covering the container with aluminium foil.

Step 4: Freeze your Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream and serve it!

Remove the mixture from the freezer and puree until smooth in a blender. Return the mixture to the aluminium container it came in. Freeze for 10 hours or until firm, covered with aluminium foil. It’s time to serve your homemade vanilla ice cream! Enjoy the flavorful treat by scooping vanilla ice cream onto crispy waffle cones.
